As we get closer to the end of the year, we hope that we shall see Google’s claims of up to 18 hand-sets running Android this year come true. Various sources are reporting T-Mobile USA and Huawei look to be budding up to collective offer the 8220. According to Electricpig, the 8220 has just received its “Wi-Fi Interoperability Certificate – and on that certificate it’s referred to as the T-Mobile Pulse.”
Things are pretty sketchy at this point, but we hope to see a 3.5’’ touchscreen display which will be perfect for viewing the pictures taken on the 3MP camera. The other aspects are somewhat expected these days, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 256 MB of memory which is expandable up to 16GB via microSD. As more news becomes available, we will keep you posted.
[Editor's note: Huawei in the past has said that the U8230 would go on sale with T-Mobile in Europe, not the USA, so this Pulse device could also be headed to Europe.]
