PhoneDog.com is reporting on a rumor it got from two different sources that the HTC Touch HD will show up as T-Mobile’s next Android OS powered smartphone. The one source is some random anonymous person, the site says, but the other source is someone they claim has a track record of sorts.

I think this is unlikely to happen, but who knows, really?

So far we haven’t seen any on-screen virtual keyboard type text input on the platform, and the Touch HD’s form factor would certainly require something like that since it has neither keyboard nor keypad.
